Building up a head of steam at BB's

BB's Coffee and Muffins is the largest shopping centre café operator in the UK and Ireland Since opening their first store in 1997 BB's have rapidly expanded to a total of 120 outlets serving over 15000 customers a day. Its famous home baked muffins, coffees, smoothies and baguettes are all prepared within the store daily; at least 28 different flavours of muffin are served on a regular basis plus 12 additional monthly recipes.

Ambitions to grow the chain by 20 stores per year have created a need for expert independent project management and Project Techniques Limited has been appointed to fill this role.

Project Techniques are responsible to BB's and their franchisees for both initially assessing new sites prior to construction as well as acting as contract administrator through the construction phase. This will include managing the competitive tenders and negotiating costs pre construction, acting as a focal point for the contractor during construction works as well as managing site issues.

Project Techniques have recently completed work on a new mall store at Hempstead Valley, Gillingham and are currently working on stores in Queensgate Shopping Centre, Peterborough and Arndale Centre, Manchester.
